Michał Chmura has a diverse work experience in various roles and positions.
From 2019 onwards, they have been working at Klarna. Michał started as a Senior Software Engineer and then transitioned into roles like Engineering Manager, Desktop Shopping, and Chair of App Talent Group. Michał'sresponsibilities included managing engineering teams, overseeing the promotion and annual compensation review process, and evaluating probation for engineers within the App domain.
Prior to Klarna, Michał worked at Global {M} as a Consultant and Senior Web Engineer. Michał was responsible for developing a Recruitment ATS system, internal tools, and data analysis. Michał also gained experience as a Web Engineer at the same company.
In 2018, Michał worked as a Senior Backend Developer at iRewardHealth, Inc, where they contributed to the development of a scalable serverless micro-service-centric REST API architecture.
Before that, they worked as a Software Engineer for Cloud Applications at Goodvidio, where they built custom cloud-based solutions.
In 2014, Michał had various positions in the gaming industry. Michał worked as a Game Development Content Writer at Microsoft Poland & Microsoft Virtual Academy, developing tutorials and articles on game development. Michał also worked as a Game Developer at 038Games and as a Lead Game Developer at Just Ice Studios.
In 2012, Michał started their career as a Software Developer at Microsoft Polska.
Michał Chmura completed their Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from Lodz University of Technology from the year 2010 to 2015. In the year 2014, they also attended Windesheim, where they studied Serious Gaming for a year. Currently, they are pursuing a Master's Degree in Advanced Software Engineering from The University of Sheffield, which they started in 2015 and is still ongoing.
