Stephen M.

Stephen M. has extensive experience in financial reporting and auditing, currently serving as the Head of Financial Reporting at Kleinwort Hambros since November 2017. Prior to this role, Stephen held the position of Financial Controller at Kleinwort Benson from November 2011 to November 2017. Stephen's career began at Ernst & Young LLP, where responsibilities included Audit Manager overseeing audits for investment management clients from January 2006 to November 2011, as well as Manager in the Professional Practice Directorate, focusing on regulatory engagement and the implementation of new standards. Earlier experience includes the role of Audit Senior at Spokes & Company, conducting statutory audits and accounts preparation from November 2002 to December 2005. Stephen earned a BA Hons in Maths and Philosophy from the University of Bristol between 1998 and 2001 and completed earlier education at The Judd School from 1993 to 1998.
