Memoona Mughal has a diverse work experience in the field of software engineering. Memoona is currently working at kloeckner.i GmbH as a Senior Software Engineer since April 2020. Prior to that, they worked at grandcentrix GmbH as a Backend Developer from October 2016 to March 2020. Before that, they held the position of Software Engineer at K'LEKT from March 2015 to October 2016. Memoona also worked as a Software Engineer at Reputami GmbH from October 2014 to March 2015, at Veritando from June 2014 to October 2014, and at NorthBay Solutions from July 2012 to July 2013.

Memoona Mughal pursued their higher education in a disciplined manner, beginning with their Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from the National University of Computer and Emerging Sciences. Memoona attended this institution from 2008 to 2012, focusing on the fundamental principles and applications related to the field. Following this, they sought to expand their knowledge and expertise by obtaining a Master's Degree in Media Informatics. From 2013 to 2016, Memoona attended RWTH Aachen University, immersing herself in the study of this interdisciplinary field that combines computer science and media technology.
