Alekson Fortes

Alekson Fortes has extensive experience in quality assurance and testing roles. Alekson is currently working as a Senior Quality Engineer at Klue since March 2023. Prior to this, they worked as a QA Automation Engineer at Connect&GO from August 2022 to March 2023. Alekson also served as a QA Manager at Stingray from January 2022 to May 2022, where they developed QA processes, mentored and coached QA professionals, and shared knowledge about quality and automation.

Before joining Stingray, Alekson worked as a QA Engineer at Square Enix from April 2021 to January 2022. In this role, they led Quality Guild meetings, interviewed candidates, and contributed to the creation of the testing strategy.

From May 2019 to February 2021, Alekson worked as a Test Automation Specialist at Intelerad Medical Systems. Alekson was responsible for managing quality tasks, automating backend and frontend testing, and performing unit, integration, and component tests. Alekson also had experience in DevOps tasks such as builds, releases, and cloud computing.

Prior to joining Intelerad Medical Systems, Alekson worked as a Senior Test Analyst at Stefanini Brasil from October 2018 to February 2019. Alekson focused on E2E automated tests using JavaScript, Protractor, and Selenium, and played a key role in promoting agile testing practices within the company.

Alekson's earlier experiences include working as a Quality Assurance Analyst at Accenture from December 2017 to October 2018, where they performed test automation using Selenium and services virtualization using LISA. Alekson also worked as a System Analyst at Fastpay from May 2016 to November 2017, where they worked with the Payware financial credit card system and Oracle databases.

Alekson started their career as a Test Analyst at Getnet - Brasil from June 2014 to May 2016, where they gained experience in automated tests using UFT/QTP. Alekson worked on accounting, banking, and financial tests in the electronic payments market.

Lastly, Alekson worked as a Software Test Analyst at Stefanini from March 2013 to May 2014, where they worked on global projects for Dell Computers. Alekson was involved in data creation and validation in Oracle databases and the creation and execution of test cases.

Alekson Fortes' education history includes an MBA in Management, Entrepreneurship, and Marketing from Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio Grande do Sul, which they completed from 2017 to 2018. Prior to that, they pursued a degree in IT Management at Unisinos from 2013 to 2017, specializing in Management Information Systems. In 2012, they attended Dublin College of Advanced Studies to study English Language, although no degree was specified.

In addition to their formal education, Alekson Fortes has obtained several certifications. Alekson received the Agile Project Management certification from Google in November 2021 and the Professional Scrum Master 1 (PSM I) certification from Scrum.org in October 2021. In June 2018, they obtained the Competent Leader certification from Toastmasters International, and in March 2018, they obtained the Competent Communicator certification from the same institution. Alekson also holds a Coaching Certification from the International Coaching Community, obtained in October 2017. Finally, in December 2013, Alekson acquired the CTFL - Certified Tester Foundation Level certification from the ISTQB Certification Institute.
