Hunter Sones is currently an Account Specialist at Klue. Prior to that, they were a Marketing Intern at addy, where they coordinated the successful launch of a campus brand ambassador program at five post-secondary schools across British Columbia’s lower mainland and Vancouver Island. They also supported content marketing efforts including blog posts, white-papers, and hosting webinars. In addition, they developed a new onboarding plan for entry-level hires which streamlined the firm's existing hiring process.
Before their role at addy, Hunter Sones was the President of BCIT Student Association from February 2019 to May 2021. In this role, they guided the allocation of the association's $10.5 million annual operating budget. They also successfully supported BCIT's most financially burdened students during the COVID pandemic by passing a motion to create a $130,000 student aid package. In addition, they managed relationships with key BCITSA stakeholders including elected officials and senior BCIT management to ensure that BCIT's students were advocated for at both the institute and provincial government levels.
Prior to their roles at addy and BCIT Student Association, Hunter Sones was the Manager, North American Demo Tour at Red Paddle Co North America from April 2018 to September 2018.
Hunter Sones has a Bachelor of Business Administration from the British Columbia Institute of Technology, as well as a diploma in Marketing Management with an Entrepreneurship Option from the BCIT School of Business + Media. Hunter is certified in Competitive Intelligence by the Product Marketing Alliance, Inbound Sales and Social Media by HubSpot, and Google Search Ads and Advanced Google Analytics by Google.
Hunter Sones reports to Brennan Bastyovanszky, SDR Manager. They are on a team with Emma Carr - Sales, Josh Marshall - Account Specialist, and Kevin Kim - Account Specialist.
