Des Keenan

Des Keenan has been working in the IT industry since 2005. Des began their career at O2 Ireland as a VBA Developer. In 2006, they moved to the University of Limerick to take on a Desktop Support role, where they fixed PCs and rolled out software on many PCs in labs. In 2007, they joined Maidenform as an IT, Programmer, Desktop Support, where they developed Ingres ABF, programmed in SQL and .NET C#, and did some scripting, FTP, and Perl scripting, as well as some C++. Des also provided desktop support for the local office and European sales team. In 2019, they joined Kneat Solutions as an IT Technical Support.

Des Keenan's education history includes a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of Limerick, which they obtained between 2000 and 2005. Des also attended Patrician College Ballyfin from 1995 to 2000. In addition, Des Keenan has obtained certifications in Introduction to Lean Sigma Quality from IT Sligo in December 2017, Programming for Everybody (Python) from Coursera in December 2014, and Interactive Programming in Python from Coursera in June 2013.
