Michael Dimaggio

Vice President, Strategic Partnerships & Development at KnowledgeWorks

Michael DiMaggio has a strong background in education and development, with their most recent role as the Vice President of Strategic Partnerships & Development at KnowledgeWorks since 2017. Prior to that, they worked for the Council of Chief State School Officers as a Director from 2010 to 2017 and from 2002 to 2008. In 2009, they held a Director position at New Tech Network, and from 2008 to 2009, they were the Director of Development at The NEA Foundation.

Michael DiMaggio has a Doctor of Law (JD) degree in International Law and Legal Studies from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law. Michael also holds a Master of Arts (MA) degree in Public Policy and International Affairs from the University of Pittsburgh Graduate School of Public and International Affairs (GSPIA). Additionally, they have a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree from UCLA. Michael has also completed the Executive Leadership Program in Education & International at the University of California, Berkeley. In terms of certifications, Michael has obtained the certifications "Driving Change and Anti-Racism" from LinkedIn in 2022 and "Difficult Conversations: Talking about Race at Work" from LinkedIn in 2021.
