Joshuah Kolijn

Joshuah Kolijn has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Joshuah currently works as a Senior HR Project Lead at KNVB since March 2023. Prior to this, they were with War Child Holland, where they served as an HR Business Partner & Global Project Lead from November 2021 to February 2023. Joshuah also held the role of Global Internal Communication Advisor from June 2020 to December 2021 at the same organization. Before that, they worked as a Senior Global Employee Engagement Manager (Interim) at Philips from August 2019 to May 2020. In 2019, they volunteered as an Impact Analyst at de Kiesmannen, where they created and implemented an impact framework for their shows. From 2012 to 2019, Joshuah had various roles at Diageo, including Corporate Relations Manager Europe, Head of Employee Engagement Europe (Temporary Cover), European Talent Programmes Lead, Global Employer Branding Specialist, HR Coordinator/Jr HR Business Partner Netherlands, and HR Internship. Joshuah started their career as a Researcher at Leiden University in 2012 and worked as a Supervisor at DOK20 from 2009 to 2012.

Joshuah Kolijn has a diverse education history. Joshuah obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Psychology from Leiden University in 2006, followed by a Master of Science (MSc) in Social and Organisational Psychology from the same institution in 2013. In 2011, they pursued a Child and Adolescent Psychology Master at Leiden University and also studied Sportspsychology at the University of Amsterdam. From 2012 to 2013, they completed their Master's degree at Leiden University.

Furthermore, they have completed various language courses, including Grade 2, 3, and 4 in Spanish Language at the University of Westminster from 2014 to 2018. Joshuah also studied Spanish Language and Culture (Spaanse Taal en Cultuur) at Molinos de Viento from 2013 to 2014. Additionally, they attended Fuentes Spaans from 2019 to 2022, where they pursued courses in Español Intermedio, Avanzado, and Superior, specializing in Spanish Language and Literature.

Joshuah'spassion for continuous learning is evident through their additional certifications. Joshuah has obtained certifications in Situational Leadership, Dutch Employment Law Actualities, Crisis Management for HR and Family Support Officer, and Intercultural Management Training. Joshuah also achieved the WSET Level 2 Award in Spirits with Distinction from the Wine & Spirit Education Trust and completed a Fast Track Digital Marketing course from Econsultancy.
