Just Spee

Chairman at Royal Dutch Football Association (KNVB)

Just Spee (Haarlem, January 12, 1965) has been chairman of the KNVB since December 17, 2019. He succeeds Michael van Praag, who stepped down due to reaching his maximum term of office.

Just Spee studied Econometrics at VU University Amsterdam in the 1980s. After graduating in 1988, he joined Procter & Gamble, where he held various roles in financial management in Rotterdam, Brussels, Cincinnati and Frankfurt, among others. In the years that followed, he worked for various companies, including Philips, Rothmans and Alvarez & Marsal.

As a member of the Supervisory Board of Eredivisie Media & Marketing, Spee was involved in the exploitation of the commercial rights of the Eredivisie clubs. Thanks to his work as CEO at Endemol and Stage Entertainment, he has a large network in the media / entertainment world. Spee himself played football at the Koninklijke HFC and was and is administratively active there, including as treasurer.

Spee is a highly experienced national and international director who sits on eight supervisory boards, including those of UNICEF, Asito Diensten Groep, Duinrell and Brunel. He is married and has two children.
