Alexis Rappas

Alexis Rappas currently serves as the Associate Dean of the College of Social Sciences and Humanities and holds the position of Associate Professor of History at Koç University since September 2019, after progressing from Assistant Professor of History from September 2013 to June 2019. Previous experience includes roles such as Postdoctoral Fellow at MMSH - Maison méditerranéenne des sciences de l'homme, Lecturer at Northeastern University, Visiting Scholar at Brown University, and Post-Doctoral Research Associate at Princeton University. Education includes a PhD in History and Civilization from the European University Institute and multiple degrees from the University of Paris I: Panthéon-Sorbonne, including two Master's degrees in History and International Relations and two Bachelor's degrees in Law and History.
