Paul Grothe

Paul Grothe has been working in IT and technology for over 30 years. Paul started their career as a Manager of Network Services for Carlson Companies, Inc. in 1989. In 1996, they became the V.P. Information Systems for CARA Collision & Glass. Paul held this position for two years before joining Koch Logistics as the Director of Information Technology in 2000.

During their time at Koch Logistics, Paul has been responsible for managing all IT related systems and administration, including cloud based voice services, data servers, LAN, WAN, vendor relations and contract negotiations. Paul has also established and led cross-functional teams that have successfully selected and implemented heavy equipment maintenance and repair platforms and ELD/Telematics solution replacements.

In July 2020, Paul left Koch Logistics to become the Project Manager at Barole Trucking. In this role, they are overseeing the design and implementation of the data architecture, burglar, and fire solutions during the build of a new corporate office facility. Paul has also implemented a multi-site video security system.

Paul Grothe completed a Bachelor of Arts degree at the University of Minnesota Duluth, with a major in Communication and a minor in Computer Science.

They are on a team with Meg Duncan - Director of Operations, Tom Torreson - Chief Financial Officer, and Jennifer Johnson - Director of Sales, Retail Services. Paul Grothe reports to Darren Nelson, President & General Manager.
