John Koetz

John Koetz is the current President of Surface Mining at Komatsu Mining Corporation. Prior to this, they served as Vice President of Surface Products at Joy Global from December 2010 to April 2014. Before that, they were Vice President of Product Marketing, Planning, and Communications at Komatsu America Corporation from January 2001 to December 2005. John also served as Senior Director of Marketing at CNH from January 2005 to December 2010. John began their career as a Program Manager for Large Tractors at Case Corporation in January 1997.

John Koetz has a MBA from the Quinlan School of Business at Loyola University Chicago, a Master of Engineering (MEng) from Carnegie Mellon University, and a BSME in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
