Raphael Mutili

Raphael Mutili (He/Him) has a diverse and extensive work experience in the IT industry. Raphael started their career in 2001 at Standard Group PLC, where they served as a Supervisor and later as a Team Leader, overseeing network and systems infrastructure and managing a team of support engineers. From 2013 to 2017, they worked at Radio Africa Group as a Systems Administrator, where they played a key role in the development and implementation of a company-wide ERP system. Since 2017, Raphael has been at Komaza, where they have held various roles. As Director of IT, they led technology leadership and digital transformation initiatives, implemented data governance strategies, and enhanced endpoint security management. Prior to that, they worked as a Senior IT Manager and IT Manager, driving technological innovation, incorporating cloud technology services, and managing the implementation of an integrated custom ERP system. Throughout their career, Raphael has demonstrated a strong aptitude for managing IT infrastructure, implementing security measures, and driving strategic objectives.

Raphael Mutili has a diverse education history. Raphael obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Information Systems from Kenya Methodist University in 2015. Raphael then pursued further studies at the Technical University of Kenya, specializing in Industrial Electronics from 2010 to 2011. In 2016, Raphael attended the Indian School of Business for a Post Graduate degree in Business Technology Management. In 2018, they obtained a Master of Business Administration - MBA in Strategic Management from the University of South Wales. Raphael continued to enhance their skills by completing a Post Graduate program in Project Management Principles and Practices at the University of California, Irvine Division of Continuing Education in 2018. Most recently, in 2022, they enrolled in MIT Professional Education for Systems Design. Raphael has also obtained various certifications, including COBIT® 2019 Foundation Certificate, ITIL v4 Foundation, and several specialized courses from Coursera and Udemy.
