Martin Thurau

Martin Thurau started their work experience as an apprentice IT specialist at Kromberg & Schubert in 2005 and later became an IT specialist in 2008. Martin then worked at Keeeb GmbH as a software developer from April 2013 to September 2015, where they implemented a cross-browser extension and developed a cross-platform mobile app. From October 2015 to October 2016, they served as the Director of Development at Keeeb GmbH, where they organized the core development team, planned and designed new features, and maintained and improved backend services and frontend applications. Following that, they worked as a software developer at eSailors IT Solutions Ltd from October 2016 to February 2019, where they worked as a full-stack developer on various parts of the online platform. Martin'stasks involved frontend work in AngularJS and Angular, as well as backend development in Java and Kotlin on a micro- and not-so-micro-service platform. Most recently, Martin joined Dr. Klein & Co. AG as a software developer in February 2019 and worked there until October 2021. Presently, they hold the position of a Back End Developer at komoot from October 2021.

Martin Thurau completed a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Informatics and Software Technology from Technische Hochschule Lübeck from 2008 to 2011. Martin then pursued further education at Universität zu Lübeck, where they obtained a Master of Science (MS) degree in Computer Science from 2011 to 2015.
