Rodrigue Alcazar

Rodrigue Alcazar has a diverse work experience spanning over 15 years. Rodrigue started their career in 2006 as a Software Engineer at OpenJaw Technologies and moved on to work at various companies such as Ammeon, Group Interactions, and RenaissanceRe in different software engineering roles. In 2012, they joined SumUp as a Software Engineer for two years. From 2014 to 2018, they worked at Boxever in different roles such as Senior Software Engineer, Principal Software Engineer, and Product Analytics Technical Lead. In 2019, Rodrigue became the Lead Data Engineer at Lingokids where they grew a team and built a modern data platform. Rodrigue continued at Lingokids as Staff Data Engineer until June 2021. Currently, Rodrigue is the Senior Backend Engineer at komoot, a travel and adventure platform. Rodrigue is experienced in various languages and technologies such as Java, Python, SQL, Spark, Redshift, S3, and Docker.

Rodrigue Alcazar pursued their higher education in the field of computer science. In 2003, they completed a Maitrise degree in Informatique from the University of Lille 1 Sciences and Technology. Later, in 2005, they obtained a M.Sc. degree in Networks and Distributed Systems from Trinity College Dublin.
