Joan Hexter-Christensen has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Joan began their career at KONE as a NEB Sales Representative from 2008 to 2010. Joan then joined Konecranes in 2011 and held various positions including New Business Developer, Training Manager, Crane Pro Parts, Service Operations Support, Program Coordinator, 1KC for Customer and Service, Manager, Head of Service Process Management and Training, and Director, Service Processes. From 2019 to 2020, they served as Vice President, Operational Excellence, and from 2020 to 2021, they were the Vice President, Customer Experience & Service Excellence. Joan then worked at Johnson Controls as the Director, Global Customer Support from 2021 to 2023. Currently, they are the Vice President, Product Line Field Service at Konecranes.
Joan Hexter-Christensen completed a Master of Science (MS) degree in Project Management from the University of Alaska Anchorage from 2010 to 2012. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Business, Economics, and International Studies from Hollins University from 2005 to 2008. Joan also attended the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee's School of Continuing Education for Spanish, but the dates of their enrollment were not provided.
