Kim Johnsen

Kim Johnsen has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Starting from 2004, Kim worked as a Management Consultant at McKinsey & Company before joining Schneider Electric as a Strategic Development Manager in 2006. Kim then moved on to work as a Senior Manager in Strategy Consulting at Flensby & Partners A/S, where they were responsible for driving client engagements, corporate strategy development, and business unit strategy development. In 2010, Kim joined Welltec as a Director, working on Well Diagnostics and Strategic Initiatives, as well as commercial projects. From 2014 to 2015, Kim worked as a Director of Commercial Excellence at Implement Consulting Group. In 2015, alongside their role at Implement Consulting Group, Kim also served as a Member of the Board of Directors at Oil Gas Denmark. Kim then joined Welltec again in 2015 as the Director of Global Technical Sales, a position they held until 2017. From 2017 to 2019, Kim worked at Vestas as the Senior Director of Commercial Operations in Global Service Commercial Management. Currently, Kim is the Chief Commercial Officer of the Industry Division at Kongskilde Industries A/S. Additionally, Kim also served as a Member of the Advisory Board at Offshoreenergy.dk from 2016 to 2017.

Kim Johnsen has a strong educational background with a focus on technical and engineering studies. They began their education at Marie Kruses Skole, where they completed their Upper Secondary School equivalent. After that, they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering at DTU - Technical University of Denmark, which they completed in 2001. Concurrently, they also studied Business Administration in Accounting and Finance at Handelshøjskolecenteret, completing the degree in 2004. Subsequently, they earned a PhD in Power Engineering from DTU - Technical University of Denmark in 2006. In addition to their formal education, Kim Johnsen has obtained certifications in project management, including PRINCE2 certification as a Practitioner in 2012 and as a Foundation level in 2011, from APMG-International.
