Shane Beasley

Shane Beasley has a diverse work experience spanning over several years in various industries. Shane began their career in 1989 at BHP Steel, where they worked as a Metallurgist trainee and eventually progressed to the role of General Foreman Steelmaking. In 2000, they joined Tomago Aluminium as a Shift Leader and worked there until 2005. Shane then moved to Bradken, where they served as a Technical Manager from 2005 to 2008. In 2008, they joined Koppers and took on the role of Regional Manager, Marketing Sales & Development-Asia until 2011. From 2011 onwards, they became the Technical Services Manager for Koppers, responsible for coordinating technical and commercial servicing and support for customers in Australia and Asia. In 2023, they assumed the position of Technical and Commercial Director at Koppers Carbon Materials & Chemicals Pty Ltd.

Shane Beasley completed their education at the University of Newcastle from 1994 to 1999, obtaining a degree in Business with a focus on Management. Prior to that, they attended TAFE NSW from 1989 to 1992, pursuing a degree in Metallurgy. However, no specific field of study is mentioned for their TAFE NSW degree.
