Onur Sönmez

Onur Sönmez has a diverse range of work experience in risk management and business management. Onur currently holds the position of Head of Risk Management at Kordsa since September 2021. Prior to this, they worked at Arçelik Global as an Enterprise Risk Management professional from December 2020 to September 2021. Onur also served at Türk Telekom as an Enterprise Risk Management professional from March 2018 to August 2020. Before that, they worked at Enerjisa as a Risk Management Specialist from March 2014 to March 2018. Onur's earliest work experience was at Ford Motor Company (Ford Otosan) as a Part Export Business Management and Metot Mühendisi (Parça İhracat İş birimi) from March 2013 to March 2014.

Onur Sönmez holds an MBA in Global Business Leadership from Johnson & Wales University, which they completed from 2009 to 2012. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechatronics, Robotics, and Automation Engineering from Sabanci University, where they studied from 2004 to 2009. Onur completed their high school education at Bursa Anadolu Lisesi from 2001 to 2004. Onur Sönmez has also obtained several certifications related to energy risk management, ISO standards, and business analysis between 2015 and 2017.
