Sujar has held positions in various companies, including Kout Food Group, The Sultan Center, Metro Cash and Carry, Anil Nutrients Ltd, Ballarpur Industries Limited (BILT), Planet Pickles Private Ltd, AVT Natural Products, Saraya Sugars Ltd, and Indian Tropical Agro Products (P) Ltd. Throughout their career, they have taken on roles such as Associate Director - Business Integration, Senior Manager - Program & Change Management, Project Manager, Head - Fresh, Ultra Fresh Food, Edible Grocery & Processed Foods, and General Manager - Agri, Retail & Rural Development, among others. Sujar'sexperience includes responsibilities such as business integration, program and change management, project management, supply chain management, inventory management, new business development, and retail operations. Sujar has also been involved in contract farming, procurement, agri extension services, and the implementation of quality standards.

Sujar Jacob obtained a Higher Secondary Education degree in Science from Carmel Hr Secondary School in Nagercoil, where they studied from 1983 to 1990. Sujar then pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Agriculture from Allahabad Agricultural Institute, graduating in 1994.
