Imraan Bashir

Imraan Bashir currently serves as Partner and National Public Sector Cyber Leader at KPMG Canada, a position held since May 2020. Prior to this role, Imraan held various leadership positions at the Treasury Board of Canada Secretariat from July 2011 to May 2020, including Director General of Cyber Security & Digital Identity and Director of Cyber Security Operations. Experience also includes a management role at Indian and Northern Affairs Canada from June 2008 to July 2011, and various IT and security positions at EDS, an HP Company, from May 2000 to June 2008. Imraan holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science with a focus on Software Engineering from Carleton University.
