Joseph Nickey

Joe Nickey has extensive work experience in quality assurance and engineering management roles. Joseph(Joe) started their career as a Principle Systems Engineer at SAIC (formerly Trios Associates, Inc.) in 1999 and stayed with the company until 2004. Joseph(Joe) then joined Futron Corporation in 2003 as an Engineering Manager / Quality Manager and remained in the role until 2006. In 2006, Joe joined Kratos Defense and Security Solutions as the Director of Quality Assurance, where they were responsible for the quality assurance and configuration management support organization. Joseph(Joe) also served as the management representative for the company's quality management system and led CMMI sustainment and improvement activities.

Joe Nickey earned a BSEE degree in Electrical Engineering and Nuclear Engineering from the University of Maryland between 1980 and 1985. Joseph(Joe) later pursued an MS degree in Radar Systems Engineering at the Westinghouse School of Applied Engineering Sciences from 1986 to 1989. Additionally, Joe has obtained certifications including CMMI-DEV SCAMPI Team Member, Internal Auditor for ISO9001:2008, and Lead Auditor for ISO9001:2008, though the specific dates of obtaining these certifications are not provided.
