Tom Pittenger

Tom Pittenger has a diverse work experience in the field of robotics and engineering. Tom is currently working as a Senior Robotics Engineer at Kraus Hamdani Aerospace, Inc. since April 2020. Prior to that, they founded and owned Crash and Burn Solutions, a company they started in January 2019. Tom also worked as a Robotics Engineer at AION ROBOTICS from January 2019 to January 2020. Tom Pittenger has previous experience at Intel Corporation as a Drone Flight Controls Engineer from December 2016 to December 2018. Before that, they worked at Airphrame as a Senior Embedded Systems Engineer from January 2015 to December 2016. Tom also worked as a Firmware Engineer at Trimble Navigation from June 2011 to December 2014. Tom Pittenger started their career at Inovonics, Inc. as an Embedded Systems Design Engineer from June 2005 to June 2011, where they were involved in planning, developing, and debugging embedded products for FM radio broadcast equipment. Tom began their professional journey as a Broadcast Engineer at Pappas Telecasting Companies from January 2004 to April 2005, where they assisted with maintenance on TV transmitters and radio stations, and contributed to the HDTV buildout for a TV news studio.

Tom Pittenger received their first degree in Computer Engineering with a specialization in Embedded Systems & Robotics from California State University, Fresno. Tom attended the university from 2001 to 2006. Later, they pursued a Masters in Electrical Engineering from the same institution, completing their studies from 2008 to 2010.
