Cheng Qian

Cheng Qian has a diverse work experience. Cheng started their career as a Strategic Purchaser at THEN Maschinenbau GmbH in 2008 and worked there until 2010. Cheng then joined INVERTO, A BCG Company as a Regional Manager for China, where they managed intercultural teams and supervised consulting projects for leading companies until 2014. Since 2016, Cheng has been the Head of Procurement Service Center for all KraussMaffei Group GmbH factories in China. In this role, they led teams in supplier development, process standardization, and cost engineering. Additionally, they were responsible for procurement 4.0 initiatives. In 2018, they also took on the role of Department Head of the "GPTC" in Munich, focusing on governance, processes, tools, and controlling.

Cheng Qian completed a Diploma in Economics from Heidelberg University from 2003 to 2007. Prior to that, Cheng Qian obtained a Bachelor's degree in International Business/Trade/Commerce from Tongji University from 1998 to 2002. In addition, they obtained additional certifications in Business English from USS GmbH in 2009, Business English (B2) from Summacum GmbH in 2007, and Audit Suppliers from IHK Heilbronn in 2006.
