Odin Heitmann

Odin Heitmann serves as a Police Superintendent and Investigator in the Hi-tech Crime Section at Kripos since October 2018. Prior to this role, Odin was the Acting Head of Unit at the East Police District from January 2015 to October 2018 and held positions as a Police Superintendent and Computer Forensics Investigator there. Additionally, experience includes serving as a Police Constable and Computer Forensics Investigator at Romerike Police District and earlier roles at Sogn og Fjordane Police District and Forsvaret - Norwegian Armed Forces. Odin is currently pursuing a Doctor's Degree in Information Security and Communication Technology at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology, following an Experience-based Master's in Information Security: Digital Forensics & Cybercrime Investigation from the same institution. Academic credentials also include a Bachelor's degree in Police and completion of specialized modules in Nordic Computer Forensics.
