Ed Jones has a diverse work experience spanning across various companies and roles. Ed started their career as a Marketing Executive at Simply Fresh Foods, where they worked on category insight and market research projects. Ed then moved on to become a Marketing Manager at Davenham Group plc, a commercial finance company. After that, they worked as a Managing Consultant at ClearChoice Marketing Consultancy, providing marketing expertise to SMEs.
Ed also worked as a Marketing Executive at Parasol, where they played a key role in the development and rebranding of the company. Ed later joined Cadbury plc. as a Cadbury Implementation Manager for the London 2012 Olympics.
Ed's next position was as a Customer & Category Marketing Manager at Fredericks Dairies, the UK's largest independent ice-cream manufacturer. Ed was responsible for supply to retail multiples, national convenience, and major wholesaler groups.
Ed then worked at Kellogg Company as a Shopper Marketing Manager, where they focused on developing and executing shopper marketing strategies. Ed played a significant role in the successful launch of Pringles Tortilla.
In 2016, Ed joined Nichols plc as a Senior Customer Marketing Manager, heading up the Customer & Shopper Marketing department. Ed led the trade communications strategy and played a key role in driving growth for the Vimto brand.
Currently, Ed is the Head of Shopper Marketing at Krispy Kreme UK and IRE, a role they took on in 2021. Ed'sprevious role at the same company was Senior Marketing Manager.
Ed Jones attended Sheffield Hallam University from 2002 to 2006, where they earned a BA(Hons) degree in Business and Marketing, specializing in fields such as Business, Marketing, and Strategic Management. In 2006, they pursued further education at CIM | The Chartered Institute of Marketing, obtaining a Professional Diploma in Marketing. Recently, in 2020 to 2021, Ed completed a Professional Diploma in Digital Marketing at the Institute of Data & Marketing (IDM).
