Bennet Monnie

Bennet Monnie has a diverse work experience in various engineering roles.

In 2014, Monnie started as an Engineering Intern at Acutec Precision Aerospace Inc., where they gained practical experience in the field.

In 2018, Monnie was an Undergraduate Researcher at Oak Ridge National Laboratory, contributing to research projects during the summer period.

Following that, they joined Epiphany Solar Water Systems as a Junior R&D Engineer, responsible for assisting in the development and construction of Mechanical Vapor Recompression Distillation Systems. They later advanced to the role of Research and Development Engineer, focusing on troubleshooting and assisting in the design and deployment of oil and gas wastewater distillation systems.

In 2021, Monnie joined Coherent Corp. as a Process Engineer, tasked with managing the transition of complex assemblies from a subsidiary to the company headquarters. They also led process improvements and quality initiatives to increase productivity and reduce waste within the Components and Systems department.

Currently, in 2022, Monnie holds the position of Manufacturing Process Engineer at Kromek Group plc, contributing to the development and improvement of manufacturing processes within the company.

Bennet Monnie obtained their Bachelor's Degree in Engineering from Robert Morris University. Bennet pursued their education at the university from 2015 to 2019.
