Shiva Dastjerdi

Shiva Dastjerdi, Ph.D., is a Senior Scientist at Kronos Bio since August 2021, having previously held roles as a Scientist and a PhD student at Boston University from September 2016 to August 2021. Research experience includes synthesizing small molecule inhibitors for TIP60 lysine Acetyl Transferase and developing bifunctional pomalidomide and VHL conjugated degraders. Notable prior positions include Graduate Research Intern at Jnana Therapeutics and Research Technician at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, where work focused on targeted protein degradation in cancer through the synthesis of various degraders and laboratory analyses including NMR and mass-spectroscopy.
