Mike Murphy

Mike Murphy has a diverse work experience spanning multiple companies and roles. Mike started their career at Sagebrush Treatment Center, where they worked as a Program Assistant from August 2016 to March 2018. After that, they joined Atomicorp as a Support Engineer from February 2018 to May 2020. Following their time at Atomicorp, Mike worked at Red Hat as a Support Engineer from May 2020 to July 2022. In 2020, they also had brief roles as a Systems Engineer and Redhat Support Engineer at DLT Solutions. Currently, Mike is working as a Technical Customer Success Manager at Stackwatch, creators of Kubecost, starting from July 2022.

Mike Murphy attended Northern Virginia Community College from 2015 to 2017, where they earned an Associate of Science (AS) degree in Psychology. Mike then pursued further education at George Mason University from 2017 to 2020, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Information Technology.

In addition to their academic accomplishments, Mike also holds several certifications. In June 2021, they obtained the ITIL Foundation Level certification from AXELOS Global Best Practice. In December 2021, they earned the AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS). Lastly, in April 2022, they completed the Certified Kubernetes Administrator certification offered by the Cloud Native Computing Foundation (CNCF).
