Darin Weinheimer

Darin has a passion for the construction process, therefore his office responsibilities include the overseeing of construction documentation and construction administration. Darin also oversees all of the marketing and promotional activities for the office. He is an active member of CREW and AIA Houston.

Darin is skilled in effective communication through concise construction documentation and his ability to act as a liaison between the Owner and Contractor. He has over thirty years of working experience in Houston, San Antonio, and throughout many southern states (see registrations on the left). Darin has extensive experience with nationally renowned design firms such as The SWA Group and CRSS in technically difficult project work. His experience includes management districts, multi-family, parks, master planning, senior living communities, schools, office buildings, on-structure plazas, retail centers, churches, public parks, and residential design.

Since the inception of Kudela & Weinheimer, Darin has always received the strong support of his wife Anne and his two sons, Nicolas and Philip, without whose constant love and patience none of this would be possible. During his spare time, Darin enjoys gardening in his backyard and running. Darin and Thad’s first office was located in Thad’s laundry room. They used the washing machine as a desk to draw their designs on.
