Cédric Baertschi

Cédric Baertschi has a strong background in the technology industry, with a focus on software development and embedded systems. Cédric started their career at NagraCard SA as a Software Engineer in 2001 and worked there until 2006. Cédric then joined NAGRA, where they held various roles, including Senior Software Engineer from 2007 to 2012, Software Expert from 2013 to 2015, and Product Owner, Embedded Software Expert from 2016 to 2019. During their time at NAGRA, Cédric was responsible for project management, development, and architecture in smart card and embedded systems projects. In 2019, Cédric joined Kudelski IoT as an Embedded Software Architect, focusing on IoT device architecture. Cédric later took on the role of Lead Engineer and Product Owner, managing a multi-project, multi-site team and overseeing the development of secure IP, integrated secure elements, and software libraries for GNSS products. In 2022, Cédric was promoted to R&D Director, a position they currently hold. Throughout their career, Cédric has shown strong technical skills, project management abilities, and a keen understanding of secure systems.

Cédric Baertschi completed their Master of Science (MS) degree in Microengineering from EPFL (École polytechnique fédérale de Lausanne) from 1996 to 2001. In addition to their formal education, they also obtained the PSPO I certification from Scrum.org in January 2020.
