Oleh Skotar

Oleh Skotar has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and industries. Oleh started their career in 2018 as a QA Specialist at Trōv, where they gained experience in Agile/SCRUM development and web service testing. In the same year, they also worked as a Japanese Language Specialist at Veeva Systems.

In 2018, Oleh co-founded FantaJI and served as the Co-CEO and Co-CTO until 2022. During this time, they contributed to the strategic leadership and technical development of the company.

In 2021, Oleh joined 株式会社クスノキ (Kusunoki) as a Back End Developer & DevOps, focusing on a startup project involving AWS Serverless technologies. Oleh worked on various aspects of the project, including Lambda, Fargate, and Pipeline.

In 2015, Oleh co-founded Nihonbu, an organization dedicated to teaching Japanese language and promoting Japanese culture in Ukraine. Oleh served as the Co-Founder CTO and also worked as a Teaching Specialist, providing private and group lessons for 7 years. Oleh achieved significant results by preparing students for the JLPT exams, with some progressing from N4 to N2 within a few years.

Most recently, Oleh joined Kyash in 2022 as a Back End Developer, contributing to the development of the company's backend systems.

Oleh Skotar completed their Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science at State University 'Lviv Polytechnics' from 2013 to 2017. Oleh then pursued a Master's Degree in Information Technology at the same university from 2017 to 2018. Additionally, they obtained certifications in Japanese language proficiency, including the N1 Certificate from Japan Fondation, Educational Exchanges and Services in January 2018, and the Japanese-Language Proficiency test N3 in January 2016. Oleh also holds a N2 Certificate in Japanese-language proficiency, although the details of the institution and date of acquisition are unknown.
