Takashi Ohshima

Takashi Ohshima is a Professor at Kyushu University since 2010, previously serving as an Associate Professor at Osaka University from April 1995 to April 2010. Notable research includes the development of highly efficient and environmentally benign synthetic processes. Takashi Ohshima also held the position of Assistant Professor at The University of Tokyo from April 1999 to March 2005, focusing on enantioselective total syntheses of bioactive natural products using asymmetric catalysis. Prior experience includes a postdoctoral position with KC Nicolaou at The Scripps Research Institute from May 1997 to March 1999. Takashi Ohshima earned a Ph.D. in Chemistry from The University of Tokyo between 1991 and 1996.
