Matt Weingast

Matt Weingast currently serves as Vice President and General Counsel at L3Harris Technologies, a position held since July 2019, and also holds the role of Senior Vice President and General Counsel for the Electronic Systems Segment at L3 Technologies since March 2018. Prior to these roles, Weingast was General Counsel and Secretary for Munitions & Government at Day & Zimmermann, where responsibilities included overseeing legal and compliance matters and leading contracts and proposals. Weingast has also held positions as Principal at GarryOwen Ventures LLC, Vice President & Group Counsel at DRS Technologies, and Corporate Attorney at Drinker Biddle & Reath LLP. Early career experience includes management consulting at Booz Allen & Hamilton and serving as a Commissioned Officer in the US Army. Weingast holds a Juris Doctor from Georgetown University Law Center, a Master of Science in Strategic Intelligence and National Security Policy from the Joint Military Intelligence College, and a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations and National Security Studies from American University.
