Director Of R&d / Product Development at La Colombe Coffee Roasters

Laura Christian has a diverse work experience in the field of food science and research. Laura has held various positions in different companies over the years. At La Colombe Coffee Roasters, they started as an R&D Food Scientist in April 2016 and worked their way up to become the Senior Food Scientist until February 2019. From February 2019 to March 2022, they served as the Senior R&D Manager, responsible for research and development in the company. Currently, they hold the position of Director of R&D/Product Development, starting in March 2022. Before their time at La Colombe Coffee Roasters, they worked as a Product Development Scientist at Zentis Food Solutions from August 2014 to April 2016. Prior to that, they worked as an Assistant Food Technologist at IFF from September 2013 to August 2014. Laura also has experience in leadership and finance roles as a World Race Team Leader and Treasurer at Adventures in Missions from September 2012 to July 2013. Additionally, they worked as an Assistant Food Technologist at IFF from March 2011 to August 2012. Laura Christian also gained research experience as a Research Assistant at Drexel University from January 2012 to June 2012.

Laura Christian attended Drexel University from 2008 to 2012, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Culinary Science, with a concentration in Science.
