Chantal Parent, CHRP, has extensive experience in organizational development, talent management, and learning and development. Chantal is currently the Director of Organizational Development, Training, and Talent Acquisition at La Presse. Previously, they held the role of Director of Quality of Practice at the Ordre des conseillers en ressources humaines agréés, where they focused on professional development and inspection.

Prior to that, Chantal worked as the Senior Director of Global Organizational Development at Fiera Capital, where they recommended and implemented strategies to support talent management and company culture. Chantal also provided coaching and support to the HR team and leaders in strategic projects.

Chantal has also held positions at SNC-Lavalin as the Global Director of Leadership and Organizational Development, where they designed and deployed global strategies in areas such as leadership development and employee engagement. Additionally, they have worked with various universities, professional associations, and organizations on training, competency development, and change management mandates.

Earlier in their career, Chantal served as the Senior Manager of Talent Development and Diversity at PSP Investments, where they implemented talent management strategies and oversaw learning and organizational development programs. Chantal also worked at BDC as a Senior Advisor, leading learning and leadership development initiatives.

Before entering the corporate world, Chantal gained experience as an External Consultant in Organizational Development and held various roles at Bell, including Associate Director of Learning and Director of Human Resources (Business Partner). Chantal'sresponsibilities at Bell included staffing, career transition, and employee engagement.

Chantal Parent, CHRP, has a diverse education history. Chantal has attended several prestigious institutions and obtained various certifications. Chantal's education includes studying Company Management at HEC Montréal and Workplace Instructor at UQAM | Université du Québec à Montréal. Chantal also holds a Bachelor's degree in Specialized Translation from Université de Montréal and a Certificate of Proficiency in English from McGill University. Chantal has further enhanced their skills and knowledge through a Statement of Accomplishment in Organizational Leadership from Case Western Reserve University.

In addition to their formal education, Chantal has pursued additional certifications to expand their professional expertise. Chantal has obtained the SuccessFinder selection and development tool certification from Optimum Talent | Integrated Talent Management in November 2019. Furthermore, Chantal holds certifications in Integrated Technologies - Basic and Advanced Certification from Human Synergistics, as well as being a Certified Training & Development Professional (CTDP) from the Association for Talent Development (ATD). Chantal is also a member of the Ordre des conseillers en ressources humaines agréés (CRHA) and a former member of the Association des femmes en finance du Québec - AFFQ.
