Mathew Eggins

Mathew Eggins has a diverse work experience in the tax and finance industry. Mathew began their career as a Tax Consultant at PwC in 2003 and later worked as a Senior Tax Analyst at Deloitte Australia in 2005. Mathew then returned to PwC as a Senior Tax Consultant in 2006, where they handled income tax returns and provided tax advice for large listed clients. In 2007, they joined Grosvenor as a Taxation & Treasury Accountant. From 2008 to 2012, they worked at Boeing as a Manager - International Tax. After that, they joined Pentair as a Tax & Treasury Manager - Pacific, where they established a successful Tax and Treasury team for Pentair's operations in the Pacific region. In 2013, they joined KPMG Australia as a Senior Manager, focusing on industrial and technology companies' taxation requirements. Mathew later worked as a Regional Tax Manager - Asia Pacific at Travelex in 2017. From 2017 to 2023, they worked at Link Group (LNK), first as a Senior Tax Manager, then as Head of Tax and Strategic Projects, and finally as Head of Tax. Currently, they hold the position of Head of Tax at La Trobe Financial.

Mathew Eggins completed their Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) degree in Accounting and Finance from Griffith University from 2000 to 2004. From 2004 to 2006, they pursued a Post-Graduate Diploma in Chartered Accountancy from the Institute of Chartered Accountants Australia. Finally, from 2016 to 2020, they attended the University of Sydney, where they obtained a Masters of Taxation degree, specializing in Tax Law and Taxation.
