Kim Parker Gordon has extensive experience in communications and public relations. Kim is currently serving as the VP of Communications for LA28, where they lead the communications strategy for the upcoming Games. In this role, they are responsible for creating an exciting and culturally-relevant Games experience for athletes, fans, commercial partners, and the Los Angeles community. Kim also serves as the senior communications advisor across various functional areas within LA28.

Prior to their current role, Kim worked as a Communications Consultant for a year. Kim has also held significant positions at Netflix, Sunshine Sachs, Obama for America, Brave New Foundation, HL Group, and the California African American Museum. Notably, at Netflix, they played a key leadership role as the Director of Documentary Publicity, promoting the documentary slate and leading communication strategies for President Obama and Michelle Obama's production company, Higher Ground. At Obama for America, Kim served as the Colorado Press Secretary and played a critical role in the campaign's success in the state.

Throughout their career, Kim has demonstrated a strong ability to develop and implement effective communication strategies, build relationships with media outlets, and drive successful campaigns.

Kim Parker Gordon holds a Master of Science degree in Comparative Politics from The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE). Kim also earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Public Policy from Duke University. Additionally, Kim obtained a Certificate in Environmental Communications for Behavior Change from Duke University Nicholas School of the Environment. Kim completed their secondary education at Harvard-Westlake School.
