Carolyn Parkinson

Carolyn Parkinson has a diverse work experience in various roles and organizations. Carolyn currently serves as the Chief Administrative Officer at Lad Lake since December 2022. Prior to this, they worked as the Director of Behavioral Health at The Difference Principle starting in October 2018.

Within the same year, they joined Sirona Recovery as the Lead Administrator, and later became an Administrator until December 2022.

From 2012 to 2018, Carolyn worked at the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction, where they held different roles including Director of Wisconsin Educational Opportunity Programs & Office of Urban Education, Public Instruction Supervisor, and School Administrative Consultant/Program Coordinator.

Before that, they worked as an Associate Attorney at Halling & Cayo, S.C. from April 2010 to December 2011.

Their earlier experience includes being a Lexis Student Representative at LexisNexis from August 2008 to December 2009, and a Research Assistant at MARQUETTE UNIVERSITY LAW SCHOOL from May 2008 to October 2009.

Carolyn also worked as a Summer Associate at REINHART BOERNER VAN DEUREN in June 2009 and as an Intern at WISCONSIN FACETS from September 2008 to December 2008.

Their earliest internship experience was as an Intern in Guardian Ad Litem Division at the Legal Aid Society from May 2008 to August 2008.

Carolyn Parkinson began their education journey in 1986 when they enrolled at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. Over the course of four years, from 1986 to 1990, they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Psychology & Sociology. Following this, Carolyn went on to pursue a Master's degree in Social Work at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, where they attended from 1991 to 1992. After completing their Master's degree, Carolyn decided to further their education in the field of Law. From 2006 to 2009, they attended Marquette University Law School, where they obtained their Juris Doctor (JD) degree.
