Caitlin Mixter

Caitlin Mixter is a Managing Director and the Head of Investor Relations at Lafayette Square. Prior to joining Lafayette, Caitlin served as Vice President of Business Development and Investor Relations at Brightwood Capital Advisors, where she was responsible for the development, marketing, and distribution of Brightwood’s products and overseeing the firm’s institutional and consultant relationships with corporate pensions, insurance, endowments and foundations, family offices and high net worth individuals.

Before joining Brightwood, Caitlin was part of the Global Business Development team at GoldenTree Asset Management, a credit-focused alternative asset manager. Previously, Caitlin held investment roles at GSO Capital Partners and Oaktree Capital Management. Caitlin started her career in Investment Banking-Leveraged Finance at Barclays Capital.

Caitlin has previously served on the Board of Trustees for Camp Onaway for Girls as well as the Caron Foundation New York Advisory Board.

Originally from Houston, TX, Caitlin holds a Bachelor of Arts with Distinction from the University of Virginia.
