Brian Murphy

Brian Murphy is an experienced education and fitness professional with a diverse background in leadership roles across various organizations. Currently serving as Assistant General Manager at Lakeshore Sport & Fitness since January 2024, Brian previously worked as Engagement Manager at Tutored by Teachers from August 2022 to October 2023. Important contributions were made as Director of Program Operations and Director of Social-Emotional Learning at Hebrew Public from July 2018 to July 2022. Additional experience includes serving as Assistant Principal at Chicago Academy High School and holding several positions at Chicago Public Schools, including Dean of Students and Athletic Director/Teacher. Early career roles included Rehabilitation Aide at Athletico and Sales Associate at LIFETIME FITNESS. Brian holds a Master of Arts in Educational Leadership and Administration from National Louis University and a Bachelor of Science in Health and Physical Education/Fitness from Northern Illinois University.
