Duane Van Heerden

Duane Van Heerden has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles.

From 2023 to the present, Van Heerden has been working as a Senior Customer Success Manager at Lakeside Software.

Prior to that, from 2021 to 2023, they worked at Workato as an Enterprise Customer Success Manager. In this role, they managed enterprise customers with large revenues and successfully enabled platform adoption and expansion within customer organizations.

From 2020 to 2021, Van Heerden worked at Nintex as a Senior Manager - Customer Learning. Here, they focused on post-sales support and led the development of new learning product offerings.

From 2018 to 2021, they held various roles at K2, including Director of Customer Success and Learning Operations and Enterprise Architect. In these roles, they played a key role in improving customer experience, revenue growth, and product offerings.

Prior to their time at K2, Van Heerden held positions as Principal Enablement Manager and Senior Technical Consultant at K2, where they focused on delivering training and technical solutions to customers.

Before their time at K2, they worked as a Senior Consultant at Inobits Consulting, a Senior Trainer at IT Intellect, and as a Junior Developer at both MGX and SoftwareFutures.

Throughout their career, Van Heerden has demonstrated their expertise in customer success, learning and development, and technical consultation.

Duane Van Heerden has a Bachelor's Degree in Technology in Business & Information Technology from Cape Peninsula University of Technology. Prior to that, they obtained a High School Diploma from Jan van Riebeeck, where they studied Economics, Accounting, Maths, and English.

In addition to their formal education, Duane Van Heerden has obtained several certifications. Duane received a certification in Strategic Planning Foundations from LinkedIn in October 2021. Duane also holds a certification as a K2 Master from K2, obtained in July 2016. Furthermore, they have multiple Microsoft certifications including MCSD, obtained in August 2001, Microsoft Certified Database Administrator (MCDBA), obtained in May 2000, and Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer: Windows Server 2003 (MCSE), obtained in February 2000.
