Robin Southall has a diverse background in IT and customer success. Starting in 2005, they worked as a Sales Administrator for Burgess Ice Cream. In 2006, they became an IT Technician for Mitrefinch Ltd, providing support for the company's infrastructure and PC users. From 2006 to 2015, Robin worked at Phoenix Software Limited as a Technical Analyst/Consultant, managing and troubleshooting infrastructure, supporting users, and implementing VMware products and Microsoft tools. In 2015, they joined Innov8 - A Block Company as a Lead Consultant, responsible for designing and delivering the Mobile Medical Workspace offering. They also took on the role of Architect and Practice Lead before the company merged with Block Solutions in 2017, where Robin continued as a Principal Consultant, focusing on VDI solutions in the Primary Care space for the NHS. In 2018, they joined Lakeside Software, first as a Technical Relationship Manager, providing post-sales training and enablement, and later as the Director of Customer Strategy and Innovation, leading customer success teams and driving value-based delivery of Systrack.

Robin Southall completed a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Computing from The Manchester Metropolitan University from 1999 to 2003. Prior to that, they attended Urmston Grammar School from 1991 to 1998, during which they obtained 10 GCSEs and 4 A-Levels. In addition to their formal education, Robin Southall has obtained various certifications from institutions such as VMware, LinkedIn, AirWatch by VMware, Dell, and IBM. These certifications include VMware VSP Network Virtualisation 2017 (NSX), Public Speaking Foundations, Airwatch Sales Professional, Dell - Various hardware certifications, and several IBM certifications.
