Michael Wong

Michael Wong has work experience in various roles and companies. In 2018, they worked as a Retail Sales Associate at Bed Bath & Beyond. In 2022, they joined OLP Decision Systems as an Intern, where they contributed to the implementation and testing of ToastAPI for a restaurant chain. Michael also improved the data load process with ToastAPI to retrieve daily restaurant sales and inventory data and implemented an ETL process using Azure data factory to store data in an Azure database and create reports in Excel (DAX). In 2023, they joined Lakeview as a Software Engineer.

Michael Wong began their education at Coral Gables Senior High School, where they obtained a High School Diploma with a focus on Coding & Computer Science in 2017. After that, they attended Miami Dade College from 2017 to 2020, studying Business Computer Science. Michael then transferred to Florida International University in 2020 and is expected to graduate in 2022 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Computer Science. Additionally, Michael obtained certifications in Cybersecurity Intelligence & Information Policy from Florida International University in December 2022 and IT Essentials from Cisco in June 2014.
