Santosh Chaubey

Santosh Chaubey has a diverse work experience in the field of technical art and game development. Santosh is currently working as a Lead Technical Artist at Keywords Studios since 2021. In this role, they collaborate with various stakeholders to understand client requirements and establish game art pipelines for artists. Santosh also acts as a bridge between artists and developers, providing support, exporting art content, and resolving day-to-day problems.

Prior to this, Santosh worked at Lakshya Digital from 2016 to 2019. In this company, they held multiple roles including Lead Technical Artist, Associate Lead Technical Artist, and Senior Technical Artist. Their responsibilities included understanding client requirements, setting up art pipelines, and facilitating in-house project training. Santosh also focused on making artists' work easier by identifying tools and processes.

Earlier in their career, Santosh worked at Gameadu as a Technical Artist from 2015 to 2016. Here, they created high-end game art for mobile games using software like Maya, Photoshop, and Unity. Santosh was responsible for creating and modifying tools, scripts, materials, and shaders for mobile games.

Additionally, Santosh gained experience as a 3D Game Artist and Unity Technical Artist at Aims Migital Technovation Pvt Ltd. from 2012 to 2015. Santosh has also worked at Real Solutions - India as a Technical Artist and Project Concept Design from 2011 to 2015, and at Arena Animation as a 3D Senior Faculty from 2011 to 2012.

Santosh started their career in 2008 as a Graphics and Web Designer at Arizona Mediaz. Here, they designed websites, developed collateral marketing material, and produced videos for clients.

Throughout their career, Santosh has demonstrated a strong understanding of art pipelines, various software tools, and project management. Santosh has consistently worked closely with clients and collaborated with different teams to ensure smooth content creation and delivery.

Santosh Chaubey began their education in 2005, attending Arena Animation where they obtained an AAASP in Graphic and Web design in 2007. Santosh further pursued their education at MAAC from 2009 to 2011, earning an Advanced Diploma in 3D Animation. In 2011, Santosh Chaubey enrolled at Vinayaka Mission's Research Foundation - University and completed a B.C.A in Batchlure of Computer Application in 2013.

Along with their degrees, Santosh Chaubey obtained several certifications in 2011. Santosh received certifications in Adobe After Effects CS6 and Adobe Photoshop CS6 from Adobe. Santosh also achieved the Autodesk Maya Certified Professional Certification and the Certified Professional Autodesk 3ds Max 2013 from Autodesk.
