Alejandro Lopez Parra

Alejandro Lopez Parra has extensive experience working in the field of cybersecurity. Alejandro currently holds the role of Chief Information Security Officer at LALIGA since November 2018. Prior to this, they worked at INCIBE - Instituto Nacional de Ciberseguridad where they were responsible for advanced services at the CERT from May 2017 to October 2018 and also served as the head of Cybersecurity Intelligence from September 2013 to May 2017. Before joining INCIBE, Alejandro worked at S21sec as a Senior Security Analyst from June 2007 to August 2013. Alejandro also has experience working at IT Deusto as a Security Information and Event Management professional from August 2005 to June 2007 and at Telefonica I+D as a Junior Security Technician from September 2004 to August 2005.

Alejandro Lopez Parra obtained a degree in Ingeniero Técnico en Informática from Universidad de Córdoba, specializing in Sistemas, from 1998-2001. Alejandro then pursued further education at Universidad de Granada, where they earned a degree in Ingeniero en Informática, from 2002-2004. In addition to their formal education, Alejandro has obtained various certifications in cybersecurity and IT, including certifications from Microsoft (Azure Security Engineer Associate, Azure Fundamentals), GIAC Certifications (GIAC Security Essentials Certification), and Carnegie Mellon (CERT Advanced Incident Handling, CERT Fundamentals of Incident Handling, and CERT Information Security for Technical Staff). Alejandro has also obtained certifications from other institutions such as SAP, Blueliv, EXIN, S21sec, McAfee, TippingPoint, Afina, IT Deusto, and Grupo ICA in different IT-related fields.
