Kristin Willeford Mba

Kristin Willeford has a diverse work experience in the field of athletic training. Kristin is currently serving as the Director of Sports Medicine at Lamar University since June 2019. Prior to this, they worked as an Assistant Athletic Trainer at Portland State University from December 2017 to June 2019, and at Furman University from February 2015 to December 2017. Kristin also gained experience as a Graduate Assistant Athletic Trainer at Illinois State University from June 2013 to February 2015. Before pursuing their graduate studies, they worked as a Worksite Athletic Health Specialist at Concentra from May 2012 to May 2013, and as an Assistant Athletic Trainer at Physical Therapy Professionals of Enid from August 2011 to May 2012.

Kristin Willeford holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from Lamar University, completed in 2023. Prior to that, they earned a Masters of Science degree in Kinesiology from Illinois State University in 2015. Their undergraduate education includes a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Athletic Training from Oklahoma State University, completed in 2011. Kristin also has additional certifications in various areas such as Dry Needling, Suicide Prevention, the Graston Technique, and is a Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC). Kristin has also completed training in COVID-19 Contact Tracing and holds certifications in CPR & AED from the American Heart Association.
