Alice Turner

Alice Turner has a diverse work experience in the fields of childbirth education and support. Alice served as the Immediate Past President and President of Lamaze International from 2020 to present. In 2016, they founded SupportingHer, an online childbirth class aimed at providing partners with the necessary tools and strategies to support mothers in labor. Alice also worked as a DONA International Certified Birth Doula at Alice the Doula since 2005, where they had a passion for helping women achieve their desired birth experience. In 2009, they founded YourDoulaBag.com and served as its owner until 2018. Additionally, Alice worked as an instructor at Isis Parenting in 2013 and as a Senior Programmer at InControl, Inc. from 1995 to 1998.

Alice Turner earned a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Biomedical Engineering from Vanderbilt University from 1991 to 1995.
