Alyssa Gilles

Alyssa Gilles has a strong background in student conduct and risk management. Alyssa started their career as an Undergraduate Intern at Ball State University, where they worked with prospective students and their families. Alyssa then worked at Indiana State University as a Graduate Assistant in the Office of Student Conduct and Integrity, where they conducted conduct conferences and upheld the Code of Student Conduct. Alyssa also served as a Practicum Student in the Campus Life and Office of Fraternity and Sorority Life departments, where they advised student leaders and assisted with event planning.

At Lambda Chi Alpha Fraternity, Inc., Alyssa held multiple roles. Alyssa started as the Chapter Conduct Coordinator, managing and evaluating chapters on disciplinary status. Alyssa then became the Associate Director of Harm Reduction, providing counsel on liability issues and working on harm reduction educational strategies. Alyssa briefly served as the Senior Associate Director of Chapter Services, with a focus on risk management, before taking on the role of Director of Risk Management and Education. In this role, they led a team that supported chapters through incident investigations and adjudication processes and collaborated with campus partners and insurance claims. Alyssa most recently served as the Director of Learning, where they developed learning frameworks and managed training specialists responsible for training chapter officers.

Alyssa Gilles earned their Bachelor's Degree in History from Ball State University, where they studied from 2009 to 2013. Alyssa then pursued a Master's Degree in Student Affairs and Higher Education at Indiana State University from 2013 to 2015.

In terms of additional certifications, Alyssa obtained the following: "Essentials in Finance," "Recruiting and Sales," "Social Responsibility," and "Leading Teams" from Kaplan Professional in 2022. Alyssa also holds the "Certified Professional in Training Management (CPTM)" certification from Training Industry, Inc., which they acquired in October 2021. Additionally, Alyssa completed the "Everything DiSC Workplace® Certification - Online" offered by Everything DiSC: A Wiley Brand in August 2020.
