Angie Ridgwell

Angie Ridgwell is the current CEO of Lancashire County Council. Angie has previous experience working as the Director General of Corporate Services for the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy (BEIS) from July 2016 to January 2018. Prior to that, they served as the Director General of Finance and Corporate Services for the Department of Energy and Climate Change from November 2013 to July 2016. From January 2013 to November 2013, they were the Interim Strategic Director for Business Change for Bristol City Council. Angie Ridgwell has also worked as an Interim GD Finance for LDA from January 2010 to December 2012 and as an Interim CFO for North East Lincolnshire Council from January 2012 to December 2012. Angie has also been self-employed as a consultant for quality assurance of accounts closure for Northamptonshire County Council from January 2009 to December 2009 and as a consultant for budget strategy for Wellingborough Council from January 2009 to December 2009.

Angie Ridgwell has a DMS in Management from the University of Warwick - Warwick Business School, as well as a degree from the Chartered Institute of Public Finance & Accountancy.
